Yes, it is peferable you can bring your own drone. Alternatively, the training centre can provide drones for training with a rental fee.

No. Courses are not available online at this time.

Yes. All the courses provided by Airworks, UTC include both theories and practice. Everyone can learn something by taking enough training.

Students must be: (1) Aged 16 to 60 and; (2) Healthy and without any medical conditions that could affect flight safety, such as red-green color blindness.

Yes. Generally speaking, operation principles for most multi-rotor systems are the similar.

The exam consists of a written and operation test. Failing either will require a make-up exam. Make-up fees are subject to local standards. Students can pay the fee and take make-up exams immediately after failing. Make-up exams will be arranged after the normal exams of the day or postponed to be taken along with other students, depending on the local center’s practices. A student cannot fail the exam more than three times. Otherwise, the student will have to sign up for the course and pay tuition again.

Yes. UTC Unmanned Aircraft Operator Certificates are effective for two (2) years. When your certificate is about to expire, UTC will consider the advancement of technology and changes in laws and regulations and decide you should be retrained or take updated exams to renew your certificate. If only an exam is required, students just need to pay related fees and pass the exam to renew.

Yes. DJI UTC, will open more UTC branch schools worldwide and build up a worldwide vocational skill certification system similar to those of Microsoft and Cisco.

After passing exams, students will receive the UTC Unmanned Aircraft Operator Certificate as a proof of successful training and personal capabilities. Certificates will vary depending on the specific course modules and drone models used for training.

No. You can only receive training at the centre for which you registered.

Every branch school must meet DJI UTC’s strict standards before setting up, so all of them are qualified.

You must finish the course within three (3) months of registration.

Standards may vary in different locations, if you need some advice or direction please do not hesitate to get in touch with us.

For all courses, the pass rate is near 100%. Students who fail the exam will have three chances to try again by paying a small additional fee each time.

Tuition for each course covers textbook fees, training fees, exam fees, and expenses for making certificates after students successfully pass the exam.

If your certificate is lost, contact the center from which you graduated, then submit the required materials for re-application.

Go to UTC official website, enter your certificate number, provide information and materials as required, and pay the USD10 renewal fee. After a successful application, you can track your renewal progress by entering your certificate number at any time.

General Info About UTC (1)

UTC authorises training centres across the globe to conduct courses, and every teacher must be trained at UTC headquarters before teaching at their respective centres. Currently, UTC has a large faculty team consisting of more than 200 certificated teachers.
